I give my sincere condolences to the Blackburn family. I wish I could tell you how much I feel for you. What I would like to do is share something with you that always helps me to cope. That is the wonderful hope promised at Revelation 21 verse 4. It says that, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." According to this scripture, God is going to get rid of suffering, pain and death. The bible also says at Acts 24 verse 15, that 'there is going to be a resurrection'. So we have the hope of living under better conditions, along side our resurrected loved ones. What a wonderful future Jehovah God has promised us! I hope that as you reflect on these promises, you will be strengthened.

Byron was always so nice, helpful, kind and fun. We remember Byron well from Middleton High School. We hadn't seen him for years but we always remembered him and what good friend he was to Drew, Bob's brother. May he rest in peace, knowing all who love him will miss him always remember him.
Our sincere sympathy to Byron's family and close friends.

Oh, how we will miss Byron's earthly presence among us! His smile, his wonderful personality, his exuberance and his zest for life and for people. He always had time to share a moment or two and let people know they mattered. I am sad I never told him out loud how much he brightened my day, whenever I saw him..........but he always did. I am fortunate to be able to call him my friend, my classmate, and often, my entertainer and uplifting spirit of my day. God bless each of his family members and may you feel the love and caring that Byron brought to so many of us during this time of your loss. Byron helped make his community-and the world-a better place to live, and his earthly presence will be greatly missed! And, gosh, that is a great picture you chose to share with us...........his twinkly eyes and infectious smile letting us know, "The best is yet to come!" My prayers for Byron and his entire family go to the Lord for all of you.

Byron was what I would call a "good fella". He seemed to always try and have a smile upon his face and I enjoyed dealing with him in the real estate business. So long Byron, my life has been enriched by your being in it. My condolences to his wife and family.

I'm sorry for the death of Mr Blackburn. In an era when many people live well into their nineties it's sad that a life ends when there is still so much to do. That is why I want to share the comfort from the scriptures about the promise of the resurrection. Of course we read about this in Jesus words in the fifth chapter of John. And beyond that, we are promised in the twenty first chapter of Revelation, that the time is coming when every one living on the earth will be set free from tears, sorrow and death. Take comfort.
