I went to High School with Doug. What fund times we had! We live in Boise. I had no idea we lived so close to one another! I am so sorry to hear of your loss. He went way too young! May your family find peace knowing that he is in a better place.

I looked forward to seeing you come in to our store every week. We talked football during the season, and of course we spoke about some of his calls on the football field :)
I will miss seeing you around town, loved your laugh and smile.
Rest in peace my friend

My brother Doug,
so many memories, from childhood to adult. We had fun, we got in trouble, we laughed and cried and sometimes you drove me crazy. But life with you was never dull.
Your probably the only man I ever knew who was completely comfortable in his own skin. You've always moved to the beat of your own drum which is probably why you had such a zest and joy for life.
Your loyal and protective love for your wife, children and granddaughters were second only to your love for the Lord.
You were a characteristic Christian, unashamed to proclaim and spread the Good News of Jesus. What great conversations we had. I will miss them.
Thanks for being my brother, my friend and always having my back.
Your game is over - well played!
You win! You are an MVP in my book - a true hall of famer.
My heart will always miss you, but my spirit rejoices because I know we will see each other again in paradise.
Until then...
