Thank you for helping us make Jeff's celebration of life special. You helped make one of the most difficult times in our life a bit easier.
A special thanks for the tree your staff planted in memory of our sweet husband and father. Jeff truly would have loved knowing that a tree was planted in his memory as part of a restoration project. He was the happiest when he was in the mountains amongst the trees.

We weren't sure how having him shipped from Austin, TX to Boise, ID would go, but thanks to you it worked out fine. I did not know what to do when my wife Anne passed away due to Covid. Valden helped my children and I through the process as we chose the options available. Chantelle also was very helpful while we worked through the paperwork and completed our tasks. The beautiful room we were provided met all our family and friends needs for the service and the video recorded of the service has been a blessing as we've reviewed who was there. God bless this wonderful team and their compassion with those who have suffered loss.

To our fellow "laborers"
No one sees more than us how you are the "front lines" for our community and how hard all of you have been working. We just wanted to give you a little reminder that there are people along side you who are impressed with your professionalism while seeing the hurting around you. Here's a little salt and sugar to get you perked up! Many thanks to all of you.

I want to extend my gratitude to Valden and the staff for the warm welcome and love you showed a single mother with limited resources. Not once was I pressured to do anything above my budget. You all made this difficult time losing my son very comfortable and with sincere kindness. You went above and beyond what I was expecting and I will be forever thankful. In just a short few days, yiu became family, God bless you all.

We greatly appreciate Mr Valden & staff. Valden did such a good job on helping us make the arrangements. This was all new to us & he made it a smooth process. Kept us informed thru the process. Treated everyone with such kindness and compassion. Thank you for all your help.

A little bit about the man I called Daddy:
My father was a stubborn man with deep Mexican roots whom believed that Pre funeral arrangement were an invitation for death to come knocking at your door. Even at 84 years old he forbid us to even mention any type of arrangements; we did finally have to say good-bye to the man whom shaped all his 7 children to always work hard and be kind human beings.
Like they did with my Grandmother and Uncle before my father; Dakan took us in and made us part of their family. Dakan immediately went to work on a funeral package that would fit our budget and not once were we pressured to choose out of our budget goal.
Thank you Dakan Family for all you did for us during our difficult time in making sure our father was well taken care of.
