We were so very sorry to hear of Doug's Passing. -Such a great guy and such a wonderful giving personality. Tragedy happens but we never hope it's this close to people we know and have such love and respect for in our lives. I remember Doug and Tommy at the ranch, how much fun they used to have playing sports, and doing "boy things"--on the ranch. Doug in our memory will be like that. Always looking for the best in everyone and accomplishing what he wanted to do. Striving for the best in life while giving to others is the greatest accomplishment. Go in Peace and Rest with our Father in Heaven, Doug.

Life goes by so quickly, and when I heard about Doug's passing it gave me a chance to pause. He was such a genuine person, loved by all. It's a shame that we lost him, yet a chance for us to reflect what is important in life. Doug's qualities will not be forgotten. I wish the family my deep condolences.

The bright light of Dougs smile and personality entered my life 30 years ago. He is missed and your loss Amanda and the loss to his family is extremely sad. Know he will be remembered with the love and warmth that his smile and company provided to all he encountered during his life.

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15

I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Doug. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy to your entire family in this time of sadness. Doug was among the first of a new group of friends at a time in my youth when I really needed friends. I find myself returning again and again to images of shenanigans in Spanish class, playing HS football, and working a summer job at Scotts Ice where we would enjoy free cold beer and sandwiches with other teammates on the roof of one of the tallest buildings in town. Although we did not remain close, I remained grateful for his gift of friendship. Doug exemplified the best of many qualities and he was genuine.
