My Aunt Alice, sister to my mother Julia Daniel Nelson: I miss you so very much! You were always there for me . . . the most understanding, patient, compassionate person I've every known. You are the essence of the Love Chapter of the Bible - 1 Corinthians 13. Ive waited a while before writing this because I knew I would cry, and I am. The memories of at least 2 week Summer visits every year as a child and teenager to your loving home fill my heart. It was just Jan. 28th when I received pictures from you; especially your & Uncle Alvin's wedding picture in which I was your flower girl at age 3. I Just re-read your last note to me Feb. 13th. I miss our phone calls so much. But I know I will see you again in Eternity. I love you Aunt Alice.

Cousin Jeannie....thank you for posting your condolences and memories. Your mother was my favorite aunt on my mother's (Alice) side of the family. I miss her very much...I can still hear her giggling and cutting up with my mother. We always looked forward to your visits. I look forward to seeing you and your husband again and renewing our friendship. I will try this time to not let time and distance separate us.....

I am so thankful for my Aunt Alice and all the ways she showed me love when I was a young girl. She was my Sunday School teacher for years, helping to lay the foundation of my faith. My favorite memories are: her laughter, the wonderful food she cooked for church potlucks and family gatherings, her hugs, and singing with her during worship service. I can still hear her amazing voice. My prayers are with you all as you walk through this time of grief and loss, but I am thankful we can look forward to the time we will all be together again for eternity.

Cousin Reola....thank you for sharing your condolences and memories. I'm sorry time and distance has separated us so much. I did get to visit with your father several times while I was in Idaho. I'm headed back there at the end of April to finalize affairs of the estate. I hope to see him again.

I would like to stop in for a visit to you and Scott sometime. I live in Austin and would like to make a genealogical trip to Oklahoma like David did this past summer and my parents did several years ago. You''d be right on the way....also, if you are ever down our way, please stop in for a visit....or stay a few days.
