I got to know a little about Pastor Reed during a temporarily deployed to Mountain Home AFB, for training, a few years ago. While away from my family, he and the Meridian church made me feel at welcome. Pastor Reed's passion for the Word of God and the gospel became evident to me immediately. Likewise, his love for the church members under his care was sincere. Though I was only a visitor for a few months, he made me feel like a member. I'll never forget his smile and the laughter I got to share with him, his family and the Meridian church. May the God of all comfort grant you consolation through the Holy Spirit in this time of sorrow. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the all the family. Robert was a wonderful man who served the Lord faithfully, and I know he will be missed by all who loved him. He is with his Lord and Savior and we will see him again, one glorious happy day!
