My Amazing Grandma (Naomi) I will miss you so much. You made my childhood full of excitement and adventures. You and Grandpa Hoss had raised the best kids (my awesome uncle (Bruce) and aunts (Nancy, Connie & Rita) and gave me the best mom a girl could ever ask for (Louise). Because of my Grandma and all her kids my life has been truly blessed. I have fabulous cousins all who I got to spend lots of time with as a child at our Grandparents house play in the ditch, riding the 3 wheeler, driving the jeep (even though we weren't old enough to drive) learning how to sew and how to cook even though Grandma did not like to cook, getting to go cheerleading with my aunts when I was younger and riding around with my uncle Bruce in his car smoking cigars as a two year old. My Grandma was one of those grandmas that would go out and play outdoors with you, teach you about all the different gems, rocks and flowers. Grandma would come and stay with my brother and I when our parents had to be out of town she would always let us stay up late, go get ice cream cones and one year she let me open my Christmas presents under the tree and then she rewrapped them she would sing us to sleep & tell us a story and she rub your feet like no one else in this world could. I remember her never being afraid of anything and I thank her for helping make me not afraid of life. She was a strong women who created strong women her daughter one being my mom Louise and my awesome aunts Rita Connie and Nancy are all amazing strong women...all of whom along with my Uncle Bruce have made my childhood a great memory. I thank them all for that....I love you all and will forever miss you Grandma.....

What great memories I had of Aunt Naomi (and Uncle Earl), but wanted to share a quick story...
When I was very young, probably around 5, we went to Adrian to visit them. Aunt Naomi had some chickens and the rooster proceeded to me around the yard and flog me. I'm sure at the time I was devastated. A couple weeks later aunt Naomi called and invited us over for dinner... Chicken and noodles was served, she had killed that ornery old rooster!
What a special lady she was, will be missed by anyone that knew her!

Louise, Rita, Bruce, Nancy and Connie, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mother. Aunt Naomi was a wonderful loving Christian. One day I was having a hard day and I ask her to pray for me. Later, she told me that she had got down on her knees and prayed for me right then. I will always remember our trip to Las Vegas with Virginia we had so much fun. We didn't have the chance to buy each of us a white wedding dress and play the slot machines. You haven't really lived until you see a bride perched on a stool in her long white wedding dress! I love you all Carolyn

I love this woman with all my heart. She was strong , funny and had great style. I will always think of her when I see colored glasses and quirky hats. She never candy coated her advice when I asked and I thank her for that. I love you more than you ever knew.

Louise, Rita, Bruce, Nancy and Connie. As I read your mom's obituary a flood of great memories came pouring in. I remember that she never seemed rattled or ever upset and here we were tracking thru the house in our wet swimsuits. She was a kind and caring lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and all your families. Take care my friends and love to all. Marilyn
