Keagan Henderson Brixey, 20, of Parma, Idaho passed away in an automobile accident on April 30, 2017.
Keagan was a blessing who was born on November 26, 1996.
Growing up Keagan enjoyed basketball, baseball, soccer, football, ATV riding and fishing. In his teen years he excelled at tennis. Keagan was not a natural, but through a lot of practice and hard work he became a two-time state placer. He was a member of National Honor Society for 2 years. He graduated Parma High School in 2015.
He had many friends that looked up to him. From being a good listener to the style he wore. He was unique, never one to follow a certain path. That was in part what made him so special. Keagan was a very quiet person, but he was deep. He didn’t talk a lot because he would rather just listen. Keagan loved photography, because a picture tells a story without saying a word. That best describes Keagan.
He spent one year attending Boise State University, where he studied English. His greatest love was writing, from lyrics to poems he had a talent to look at things from a different angle. Keagan also loved music. All genres, from rap to slow love songs. He didn’t just like the music, but took a lot of focus on the lyrics.
Keagan is survived by his great grandparents, Ollie Brixey, Jovie Padilla, and Wanda Collins. His grandparents, John and Judy Crawford and Glenda Zimmerman. His parents Travis and Jolene. Two sisters, Rilee and Raigen and a nephew Jayden and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Parma Tennis Team c/o Parma High School, 805 McConnell, Parma, ID 83660.
Service will be held at Valley Church, 2900 Life Way in Caldwell on Monday May 8, 2017 at 2:00pm, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. 459-3629. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
