Jesse (Jesus) R. Garcia lll, 50 of Caldwell, Idaho went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Jesse was born to Olga and Jesse Garcia Jr. in Lodi, California on May 08, 1967 and attended schools in Galt and Lodi. He grew up working on a dairy farm and ranching with his family. He moved to Caldwell with his family in 1983 and attended Caldwell High School where he graduated in 1985. After moving back to California in 1985, he joined the US Army in 1986 and proudly served our country. He married his best friend, Idona Young, in 1989 in Caldwell where they resided and raised their 3 children, Zak, Todd and Kasie.
Jesse was a devoted husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend who never gave up on anyone, his motto was “Everyone was a Soul worth saving.” Jesse believed that God could use him anywhere he went and was a faithful witness to all those he came in contact with. Jesse was a devoted and faithful servant of the Lord and ministered unto the Lord through service at the Anchored Church of God in Caldwell, where he served as Associate Pastor and Music Minister. Jesse also served alongside his dad doing television ministry-Breaking Barriers-for 15 years.
Jesse worked Business Management for over 20 years in Treasure Valley in the video, department store and restaurant industries until moving employment to Plexus Corp, working there from 2007-2013.
Jesse’s favorite hobbies were camping and hiking in the Idaho mountains, fishing anywhere he could and watching movies with his family and football with the guys.
We will miss his smiles, quirky sense of humor and the love and joy he gave us all through his music.
He is survived by his wife Idona-Caldwell, sons Zakary-Boise, Todd-Boise and daughter Kasie-Caldwell, dad-Pastor Jesse, mom-Olga, 3 sisters-Juanita, Cynthia, Rita (Dan), 2 brothers-Gabe (Michelle), Daniel (Leti), 3 nieces and numerous aunts and uncles in California.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Anchored Church of God 314 S. 6th Ave. Caldwell, Idaho 83605.
