Gayle and Tom were my second set of parents from the time I was 4 years old. They were our neighbors until I was 12. They were the ones who took me to Sunday School and introduced me to Jesus and showed me what it meant to be a Christian. Their home was my home...they treated me just like one of the "girls." She always had a smile and a big hug for me! I have many fond memories of my childhood because of Gayle. These last few years have been very difficult for her girls and for those of us who loved her so very much, but we all know that she is now rejoicing with her Lord and Savior and has been reunited with so many family and friends in heaven. She is now strolling hand in hand with Tom on those golden streets! This is not goodbye, but only we will see you on the other side!

Forever in my heart she will be. She had tender ways and such a sweet heart. She always made me feel so welcomed. She will be missed so dearly but God has called her to be at his side. Soon very soon we too will see the King.... Hallelujah! Amen.❤

What a lovely tribute to Gayle that was written.
Gayle Eld was a wonderful lady and I have the fondest memories of her. I was always welcome at her home. As a college student, it was great to have a "mom" figure close by. I was even entrusted with a key to the house so I could come in anytime. That came in very handy years later (yes I still had that house key) when my husband and I and 2 small kids broke down on the freeway not too far from their house. With the help of her son-in-law Jim we made it to Tom & Gayle's home. Gayle had surprise house guests for a few days until we could get a ride back home and our old car towed off. Gayle and Tom were always so gracious.
I know that her family will miss her and yet they are rejoicing that she is whole and healthy again. The family has wonderful memories and a wonderful legacy from Gayle and that will help some in the following days.
I am so happy that I knew this wonderful lady.
Love and prayers to the family, Michelle & Tim Chadd
