Dona Marie Kreps

Dona Marie (Rundle) Kreps died Monday evening, January 29, 2018 with her beloved husband and daughters by her side. She was born July 7, 1939 to Don and Marie Rundle in North Platte, Nebraska. The family moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1945. Dona graduated from College High in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, Harold Kreps, on August 9, 1957, and they had two daughters. Harold enlisted in the US Army. Dona and the girls traveled with him to his various assignments across the US and overseas over his 32-year career. Dona made friends wherever she was and was an especially good listener. She loved southern gospel concerts and watching ice skating. She had a special talent for shopping and gift-giving.
Dona is survived by her husband, Harold 'Hal' Kreps; daughters, Tonya (Don) Buie and DeAnn (Alan) Pack; grandchildren, Kathleen (Dusty) McGhehey, Diana (Jason) Tindall, Alexander Pack, Adam Pack and Eric Pack; great-grandchildren, Piper, Aden, Kaleb, Emma and Annalise; brother, Jay (Shari) Rundle; in-laws, Arvid (Pearl) Kreps and Eula (Jim) Dunn; along with numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rundle and mother, Marie (Purdy) Rundle.
The family wishes to thank Canyon West for their skilled and compassionate care. She loved and was loved by all of the staff there.
A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday evening, February 5th at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6th at Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
