Yanhua Hao Davis
On a chilly fall day in November 1962 a baby girl was born in Dalian, Liaoning China to Fenglon Wang and Shuli Hao. The attending medical staff advised that the baby girl was weak, underweight and should be left unattended until she expired to save her from a life of hardship as a physically handicapped child. The mother Fenglon and the father Shuli said no and took their baby girl into their protective arms and spent the rest of their lives loving that baby, who grew up to be the charming, intelligent and beautiful Yanhua Hao.
My wife and best friend, surrendered her valiant, three-year struggle with cancer on February 23, 2020. As I held her in my arms, she quietly returned to the eternal embrace of Jesus and the loving arms of her parents.
No person can sum up the life of another. Life is too precious to be passed over with mere words which ring empty. Rather, it must remain as it is remembered by those who loved and watched and shared. For such memories are alive, unbound by events of birth and death, and as living memories, we possess the greatest gift one person can give another.
Rosary services will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11th at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 12th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Caldwell.
