William "Bill" Bramble

Bill loved the Lord God Almighty, his family and country. Born Feb 9th 1941Denver, Colorado to William Charles Bramble of Oklahoma and Millie Jane Baughman of Oklahoma. Bill went onto Denver Elementary in Denver, Colorado, moved to Cuba, New Mexico, graduated from Riverside High in California. He joined the Navy in 1959 and left with an honorable discharge from Point Mugu Naval Air Station 1963.
He married Donna Carpenter Nov 9th 1963 in Torrance, California. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2023. They have three children, Brenda, Kellie, and Benjamin.
Bill worked for Ma Bell and became a telephone lineman, a lineman and then a telecommunication manager for Southern Pacific Railroad for 23 years, Boeing configuration specialist, Nextel Network Manager, Art Project manager, and Covad Field Operations manager. He was a Sunday school teacher, and a volunteer of Prisoners for Christ in Kent, WA.
Bill loved traveling, camping, trap shooting, reading, Westerns and brought humor to the home.
He was preceded in death by parents: Charles and Millie Jane Baughman, brother: Chuck Bramble, and sister: Mary Lynn, brother-in-law: Roy Carpenter.
He is survived by his sister: Alice Beckerwerth, brother: Dave Bramble (Barbara), sister-in-law Ardyce Chan (Tony), children: Brenda Rider, Kellie Webber, Benjamin Bramble (Kristina), grandchildren: Marissa Mittal (Anurag), Jared Rider, Grant Brees (Maggie), Kendall Baghott-Salmon (Shaun), Picard McLean and Haeli McLean and various nieces and nephews.
One of Bill's favorites was 23rd Psalms.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Dakan Funeral Chapel.
