William Jerome Bainbridge V passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 32. To his family and friends, he was “BJ” or “Will,” loved for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was born on June 23, 1989, in Racine, Wisconsin.
He graduated from Richfield High School in Richfield, Minnesota, in 2007. After a brief time in northern California, he moved to Idaho in 2007, settling later in Caldwell where he has close friends, especially his “Caldwell family,” Dave Bradshaw Krissy and Mike Dealy, Brandon and Sara Cary, and their children Sofie, Zane, Alexa, and Lili
He valued his relationships with friends and family above all else, and he was a loyal and true friend, brother, son, cousin, nephew and grandson. Will was generous and caring, one who would gladly give all he had to help someone in need. He cared about people one by one. He was unfailingly kind to everyone, quiet, considerate of others, polite. He partied, gamed, fished. He enjoyed reading, and he loved music. For those who knew him best, he was witty and intelligent.
He had a marvelous sense of humor, at once wry, understated, cynical, and at times perfectly irreverent.
He valued his work at the Middleton Chevron, and his coworkers and customers valued him as well. One customer posted that he made a choice to always stop there because Will was there, and he appreciated Will’s personality, work and service. He was a valued employee who often went the extra mile to cover shifts when needed or when he could help someone spend a holiday with family.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Bainbridge. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Tory Christian, and his siblings, Evelyn Bainbridge, Spencer Bainbridge, Katie Christian, and Brian Christian.
