Stephen Ward Potter

Stephen Ward Potter was born on October 9, 1950, entered into glory on October 6, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his Father Fred Ward Potter and Mother Diane Virginia Tucker.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Potter, his children Stephen Potter, Michael Potter, Jessica Potter and Jennessa Potter. His step daughters Grace Rivera and Michelle Simonson. His siblings Terri Potter, Linda Wilkinson, Sherry Elsing, and Michael Young. His grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stephen was born in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in the surrounding area and went to La Puente High School where he lettered in Wrestling and Gymnastics.
He joined the Navy out of high school and served during the Vietnam Era.
He enjoyed fixing cars and riding his motorcycle.
He worked in several fields during his life. Most of the time as a welder where he earned 9 government certifications in the different types of welding.
He enjoyed his free time playing pool where he earned awards for his play. He was a great teacher of the game and was willing to help those around him get better at their game as well.
He loved to ride his BIKE, whether it was two or three wheels. He loved the open road where the wind would blow through his hair, oh wait, what hair; well you know what I mean.
Stephen was a giver. He would help anyone and everyone he could no matter what was going on in his own world.
He loved the LORD with deep love. He accepted Jesus as his Savior in October of 1955 was baptized according to the call of Jesus.
He loved all of his family deeply. Loved family gatherings and enjoyed being around his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
