Shirley Rae Hemry

Shirley Rae Hemry, 88, of Caldwell passed away, Monday, January 30, 2023, at her home with all her children present. 

Shirley graduated from Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, CA, after which she graduated from Long Beach City College as a Dental Assistant.  She married the love of her life Ed Hemry, December 19, 1954 and of this union 4 children were born.  They moved their family to Caldwell in 1970. 

Shirley enjoyed Square Dancing, water skiing, camping, motorcycling and crafting. Later in life she joined Caldwell Centennial Band where she played the saxophone. 

Survivors include her children Ron (Sonji) Hemry, Dave (Margaret) Hemry, Sherri O’Larey, Susan Maund, 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held February 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
