Ronald Lee Bequeath, 73, of Caldwell, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, November 1, 2018. As per his request, no services will be held. A private family inurnment will be held at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
Ron was born November 13, 1944 at Caldwell, Idaho to Harry and Dorothy Newton Bequeath. He was a lifelong resident of Caldwell and attended Caldwell schools from 1st to 12th grade. As a young man, Ron was employed by O&G Seed Company and mowed greens at Fairview Golf Course.
Ron proudly served 8 years with the Idaho Army National Guard 116th Division in Caldwell, California, Kentucky and Georgia. He was honorably discharged in 1970. Ron worked in the Caldwell area most of his life. He worked for the City of Caldwell for 24 years and for Idaho Fresh Produce Inspection for 5 years before his retirement.
Ron was a compassionate and caring person who donated much of his time to those in need. He supported Children’s MSTI, The Idaho Food Bank, and Angel Flight programs for many years. Ron always gave second chances and support to all.
