On December 6, 2018, our good friend Roger left us to be with his sidekick brother, Jerry Allan,
aka “Santa” and his son Alex. Roger was born on June 21, 1937 to Eugene and Gladys (Powers) Allan in Anacortes, Washington.
Roger was a kind hearted man, who went out of his way to help others in any way he could. His fondest memories were of the time he and his brother spent on Johnson Island while they were in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at the Canyon County Landfill as the watchman for over fifteen years and finally decided to retire in May 2018. He bought himself a nice little house in a cul de sac in Homedale and felt at ease there watching his old westerns, and having company over to visit with about the good times.
