Richard Payne, 66, of Parma, Idaho passed away at his home on Friday, September 7, 2018 doing what he loved doing most-woodworking. Richard Payne “Dick” was born June 13, 1952 in Caldwell, Idaho to Shirley Kruger and Orval Payne.
Dick took pride in serving in the military and retiring from his lifelong employment with the Union Pacific Railroad. His hobbies included cooking, baking, fishing, hunting, yard sales, but most loved was working with wood. He was a diehard BSU fan. Dick’s smile could light up any room as he welcomed others into his life wanting to help anyone he possibly could. He was a selfless man. Dick is survived by his children; Nicole Muir (Miles), Christa Roberts, Stacy Dickson (Pat) and Cary Roberts, grandchildren; Alexis Payne, Cooper and Tyas Roberts among others; his dad, Tom Evans, brothers; John Payne, Tom Evans and Marty Evans.
Dick is preceded in death by his father; Orval Payne, mother; Shirley Kruger Evans, brother; Greg Evans and his son; Courtney Payne.
Friends and family will gather on Sunday, September 30, 2018 to celebrate his life at 113 Main Street, Middleton, Idaho 83644 at the Adventure Plaza from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Richard will truly be missed by many.
