Retta Lee Bindrup

Retta Lee (Bunn) Bindrup, 66 of Middleton, passed away Sunday morning May 20, 2018 after her courageous 11 year battle with a rare form of lymphoma. In her life Retta loved to sew, and create. She was a gifted writer and artist. She had a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and served diligently in all she did.
Retta was born to Arnold Lemuel Bunn & Stella Cleone (Munsee) Bunn on January 23, 1952 in Burley Idaho. She was the youngest of four sisters and was raised on the family farm in Declo, Idaho. Retta later moved to Ogden, Utah, where she met and married her husband, Robert Bindrup in the Logan Utah Temple on November 3, 1970.
Retta is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Owen Bindrup of Middleton; their five children, Robert V. (Sheree) Bindrup of Caldwell, Stella K. (Larry) Attebery of Caldwell, Crystal R. (Salvador) Arreola of Caldwell, Aaron L. (Leslee) Bindrup of Caldwell, and Brandon L. Bindrup of Middleton; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Wilma, Faye, Renee, and Judy..
She was reunited in heaven with her mother and father.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 11:30am at the Middleton LDS Chapel, 7th Ward, 309 W Main St, Middleton, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. A viewing will be held at the same location an hour prior to the services for those who wish to attend.
