Pearle Ellen Abbott

Our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great Great Grandma, Pearle Ellen Abbott, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours on September 18, 2018.  Mom was born in Wendell, Idaho on August 7, 1929 to Lennie Mae Smith and Chester Kenneth (C.K.) Smith  She was raised in Wendell, Gooding, Hill City, Emmett and Parma, graduating from Parma High School.  Mom had many great stories to share about her early years, particularly their experiences growing up in the 30's in Hill City, Wendell and Gooding.  Pearle was proud to have worked for the State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare as an Eligibility Examiner many, many years where she made many lifelong friends.  She was most proud of her family, her children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.  Pearle is survived by her children Lynda Sue Mann (Budd) Rick G Abbott (Susan), Leonard C Abbott (Robbin) and Bobbie Flores; by her Grandchildren Mike Mann (Angie), Robb Mann (Trudi), Nichole Abbott (Beau Sinclair), Jennifer Abbott, Jeremy Sutherland, Mark (Heidi) Abbott, Jolene (Ron) Philley, Jeff Ormsby (Jamie), J.R. (Tiyanna) Flores, Julian Flores Jr. and numerous Great Granchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews and her sister, Maxine Gale.  Pearle was precedeased by her parents, brothers Ken Smith and Max Smith, and sisters Marilynn Slabaugh and LaRayne Blamires; Grandson Ricky M Flores.   Pearle loved to garden and was especially proud of her roses and gladiolas.  Services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho.  Her viewing will be at 10:00 A.M., with services at 11:00 A.M. followed by a luncheon at the Ustick Road Church of the Nazarene, 817 W Ustick Rd, Caldwell, Idaho.  If you would like to make a donation in her name, please do so to the West Valley Animal Shelter in Caldwell, the Parma Area Senior Citizens in Parma or the charity of your choice.
