Tribute

John 16:22: So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Norman Kendall, 68, passed away on Saturday June 11, 2022 at peace and surrounded his wife, oldest daughter, and sister at his side.
Norm was born in Kansas City, MO to Betty Jean (Pat) and Norman C. He grew up surrounded by his family which included his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. One of his favorite memories he enjoyed talking about was that his family all lived in one apartment building.  His Aunts and Uncles all lived on different floors and all the cousins would switch from apartment to apartment to spend time together. He was always spending time with his family.
Norm met his wife, Donna, of 49 years, in Chicago, IL. Norm and Donna met at a Friday Night Teen Dance. They were engaged for 2 years and then got married on August 26, 1972. Norman joined the United States Marine Corps and served a total of 6 years. He was always very proud of his time in the military and his love for his country was known to all who were close to him.
Norm and Donna had seven children together. He spent most of his life continuing his education and pursuing job opportunities to provide for his family. All he ever wanted for his children was for them to be happy and enjoy the life they chose for themselves.
Norm had a passion for learning. He enjoyed many topics including his crafts: Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, and ended his life pursuing a degree in Law.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; three daughters: Nicole (Michael), Gina, Yvonne (Jeremy); three sons: Daniel (Jenny), Norman, Joseph (Nicole); his sister, Cecelia; and his 11 grandchildren. Norm was proceeded by his son, Scott; his sister, Gloria; and his parents.
He loved to have a good laugh and long conversations, so when you hear a good joke or spend too much time on the phone may you think of him and remember him fondly.
