Our beloved brother and brother-in-law, Michael Robb Laird, born October 27, 1949, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, four weeks after being diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer.
Known as a kind man with a compassionate heart, gentle spirit and a gift for humor, Mike loved making people smile with his little jokes. Mike also was an experienced outdoorsman, possessing survival skills, a vast knowledge of history of the American West and “the old ways.”
Mike had a deep love and reverence for God and His creation; and now he has moved his camp to Heaven. Although we grieve his absence here, we are relieved and happy for him to be free of his pain and suffering, and enjoying the beauties and glories there. A few of his final words to us were, “He (Jesus) is our Joy and Peace!” This is our comfort and certain hope of seeing him again.
Michael is survived by his sister, Janet (Laird) Jeleniewski and brother-in-law, Ronald Jeleniewdki.
