Michael Lynn Koch Sr., 56, of Nampa was tragically taken from his family on March 6th, 2021. Born on November 9th, 1964 to Judith and Carl Koch. He was married on April 2nd of 1992, to his lovely wife of 29 years, Tami (Freeman).
Mike spent most of his life working in the auto dealer industry. He and Tami started Car Connection in 1993 were he came to be known as Car Man aka Big Mike. He accomplished his dream to work side by side with his son Mike Jr. until his sudden death. In all his years in the car business he made many life long friends and some he considered as family.
Mike’s passions included not only riding snow mobiles, 4-wheelers and RZRs as fast as he could, but also spending just as much time with his family. They enjoyed taking many camping trips to Clear Creek, loved going to the sand dunes and sharing all those passions with his children and grandchildren as much as he could.
Mike is survived by his wife of 29 years Tami; his two daughters Heather (Tim) Korn, Krystal Koch and his son Mike (Kendra) Koch Jr; his five grand children Timmy, Koleson and Arria Korn, Nariah Koch and Brody Koch; his father Carl (Karen) Koch; his two sister Karen Jo Koch and Connie (David) Miller; his extended In-law family along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Judith, brother Tony Koch and brother in law Scott Lonkey
