On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Michael Francis Daily loving son, brother, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 70.
Mike was born November 27, 1948 in Hanford, CA to George L. Daily and Helynne L. Nicholson Daily. He graduated from Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, CA and received his degree in Industrial Mechanics/Automation (HVAC) from Boise State University, Boise, ID in 1995.
He served as an Army Sargent in the Vietnam era and was stationed in Korea. He worked for General Motors in California for 10 years and moved to Caldwell, Idaho and worked at the J.R. Simplot Co. for twenty plus years. He married Leslie Litzinger and out of that union had two beautiful daughters, Tammie and Tina. They later divorced.
Mike loved to camp and take his best friend (dog) Bo with him as well as his brother Curt and any other family member that wanted to join him. He had a passion to sing and worship our Lord and spread the gospel. He had an adventurous spirit and raced cars with his brother and nephews at Meridian Speedway. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with his brothers and sisters in Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, George and mother, Helynne. He is survived by his two daughters Tammie (Tony) Dixon and Tina Sides. A brother, Curt (Marie) Daily and a sister, Debbie (Jerry) Martin, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 18th, 2019 at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S. Kimball Ave., Caldwell. Condolences may be shared with the family and a full obituary may be read at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com.
