May Elizabeth (Duborko) Lee passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 26th. While our family mourns her passing, we know she is at rest.
She was born May 1, 1945, in Payette, Idaho, to Samuel G. and Elizabeth (Pook) Duborko. She joined older siblings Jean and LeRoy on their family farm in New Plymouth. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Plymouth. She graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1963, after which she attended cosmetology school in Caldwell.
She married John H. Lee in 1965 and they have two children, Tonya and Michael. She worked quite a long time in various pharmacies, mostly at M & W in Caldwell. She was also blessed with two “bonus” daughters, Gina Bringman and Krysty (Duborko) Meyer, who both brought much joy to her life.
She never met a skein of yarn or a spool of thread that she didn’t want to crochet into a doily, afghan, or some other creation. She loved to crochet baby blankets and doilies to share with friends and family.
After retirement, she and John spent many summers at SISCRA Willow Creek Campground near Donnelly, ID. One summer, she worked in the booth welcoming campers, while John serves on the Board of Directors.
Every year, she looked forward to wine tasting with the extended family after Thanksgiving, enjoying both the wine, the company and the laughter.
She also loved being with her three grandchildren: Thomas (Andrea) Barber, Elizabeth (Blair) Worman, and Samuel Barber. She treasured her time with her various great grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Kevin Barber; her son and son-in-law, Michael Lee and Paul Richards; her brother, LeRoy Duborko; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; countless nieces and nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17. 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 404 West Blvd. New Plymouth, ID with a light lunch to follow. A Private internment at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery 10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd Boise, ID prior to the services in New Plymouth.
