Tribute

In loving memory of Marilyn Padour (Roberts), who passed away on June 13, 2022. Marilyn was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her spark for life and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Marilyn was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. While her friends and family are devastated to lose her, we find comfort in the knowledge that in place of her weary body, she gains her eternal heavenly form so that she can once again skip, dance and run.
Marilyn's joy came from family celebrations, baking and cooking, traveling and home decorating.
Marilyn was born in Caldwell, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Roberts. Marilyn grew up in the Boise area, attending and graduating from Boise College with a Bachelor of Arts, Social Work, in 1971. The majority of her working career (15 years) was with the Boise School District prior to retiring to obtain a kidney transplant from her cherished donor (Richard Herdegen), in 2010.
In 1969, while at Boise College she met Rick, the love of her life, and they wed in 1970. They were planning to celebrate their 52nd wedding anniversary this August.
Marilyn joins her parents in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members including, but not limited to her loving husband Rick; her children Justin (Melissa) and Jessica (Nate); her sister Karen (Ken); her grandchildren Kaylee (David), Kaden (Morgan), Kellen, Hudson, Taylynn, and Paizley; and great-grandchild Dayson.
There will be a celebration of life at Cole Community Church on June 27, 2022 at 3pm. Howard Smith will officiate the service. Please note that this will not be available via live stream.
