Margaret Jane Hoshaw

Margaret Jane Hoshaw, “Jane”, 78 of Caldwell, was granted her angel wings on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on April 27, 1941 to Howard and Blanche Koch. Jane and her family made Idaho their permanent residence where she and her siblings grew up and raised their own children. Jane was the widow of James “Jim” Leonard Hoshaw, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage with their 10 children.
Jane loved spending time with her family, whether it be sipping coffee with her family and friends, being silly with her grandkids, or shopping with the girls. She enjoyed baking sweet treats for others or simply trying new recipes. Jane and Jim loved spending their time going on family camping trips or going to local community events. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and loving nature towards everyone.
Jane is survived by her 10 children, Sue Bischoff (Mike), Connie Peterson, Shelley Laney (Tom), Jerry Hoshaw (Jill), Bobbie Welch, Debbie Trent, Connie Boyles, Pam Brown (Rick), Judy Howard, and Deborah Pattisall (Woodfin); her sister, Doralee Stepp (Mike); and several nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with 21 grandkids and 40 great-grandkids whom she loved so very much.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother Howard Lee Koch, and a grandson Brandon Hoshaw.
She will be missed dearly and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew her.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell with a Celebration of Jane’s Life immediately following at Caldwell Memorial Park. A family inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.
