Marcelline Mary Rambow

Marcelline “Sissy” Rambow died unexpectantly at home on February 22, 2020 in Caldwell, Idaho at the age of 81.
Marcelline is survived by her children; Teresa Marshall and her husband Dean, Richard Rambow and his wife Paula, Kenny Rambow and his wife Kim, Edward Rambow and his wife Laura, Lisa Lopez and her husband Eduardo, and Danny Rambow and his wife Becky. Her sister Norma (White) Tappe and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents Edward Tappe and Agnes Hoffman, her husband Pierre, her son Vincent “Nan” Rambow, her brothers Willie Tappe and Vince Tappe, her sister Delores Griffith and Darlene Sosa, and her daughter in law Lori.
Marcelline was born on November 5, 1938 in Creighton, Nebraska to Edward Mathew Tappe and Agnes Monica Hoffman. She attended school in Creighton, Nebraska and in Emmett Idaho. She married Pierre Rambow on November 9, 1963 in Winnemucca, Nevada. They lived in California, Oregon, Washing and finally settled down in Caldwell, Idaho. Her family and friends called her Sissy. Marcelline was a homemaker most of the time. She occasionally worked outside the home in the orchards or as a housekeeper. Sissy was close to her sisters and spent time with them when she could. She loved her flower garden and had a beautiful variety of Iris flowers. She baked wonderful cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies. She treated her grandchildren to homemade fries when they came over. She crocheted blankets and dollies and gave them to her family. Marcelline’s favorite past times were reading, enjoying movies and watching football and car racing. She had a large album collection and liked listening to Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings and other country and western singers. Early in life she attended the Catholic church and then Calvary Chapel the last few years. She looked forward to going to the pawnshop and secondhand stores where she would bring home movies and treasured figurines that lined her shelves of her home.
A graveside services is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10;30am at the Emmett cemetery in Emmett, Idaho. Pastor Dennis Karpauskas will officiate the ceremony. The pallbearers will be Richard Rambow, Edward Rambow, Kenny Rambow, Danny Rambow, Gregory Rambow, and Brandon Rambow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marcelline’s life.
