Tribute

Lee was born October 22, 1939 in Boise, Idaho to Granville and Claire Eyman. Her father was a mining engineer and her mother was a registered nurse. The family moved to Centerville, Idaho immediately following World War II in the summer of 1945. Lee attended grades 1-6 in a small one room schoolhouse with 7-15 other children. When it came time for junior high school she was bussed to school in Boise and attended until graduating from Boise High School.
She married William Pollard of Parma, where they raised two daughters. Lee later married Melvin Calhoun of Nyssa, Oregon, to whom she was married to for 40 years. In her later years, she moved to Payette, Idaho to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Lee gave her life to Jesus and loved her church family dearly. She also loved spending time with her family, loved Nascar, playing bingo and her cat “Ming”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Tracy, and her husband, Melvin Calhoun.
Lee is survived by her daughter, Sharry (Dick) Kendall; her eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River of Life Christian Center in Payette, Idaho.
Cards and acknowledgments may be sent to Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605. Condolences can be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
