Lois Kathryn McPherson

Lois Kathryn (Kadel) McPherson, 93 of Caldwell passed away of natural causes on Saturday, November 19, 2022. As per her request no services will be held. A private family internment will be held at Canyon Hill mausoleum, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
Lois was born on September 25, 1929 in Beloit, Kansas to Alfred and Freda Kadel. She moved to Notus, Idaho from Kansas with a caravan of her mother and father along with 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She attended Notus schools from the age of 4 and graduated at 16 years old as valedictorian. She started working at Idaho First National Bank in Caldwell after graduation. She met her sweetheart for life at the bank, Doyle McPherson. They were married at Boone Memorial Church, Caldwell in June of 1949.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra and her son Daniel both of Caldwell; siblings Mary Anne Hammons, Gary (Mary) Kadel, Herb (Blanche) Kadel, Alfred Kadel, Barbara (Wilbur) Shell and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was very loved and will be missed by many friends and family.
Heaven has gained a very private, sweet, strong, stubborn angel that we will be seeing again.
We would like to thank Visiting Angels and Journeys Hospice for their extraordinary care given to our mother.
