Lloyd Purser Bair

Lloyd Purser Bair of Caldwell passed away on September 7th at the age of 61. He was born on June 9th, 1960 to Quinn and Darlene Bair in Logan Utah. He grew up in Utah before moving to Caldwell in 1972. Lloyd graduated from Caldwell High School in 1978, and then served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Rapid City South Dakota mission.
After returning from his mission, he followed in his father’s footsteps and went to work for the Amalgamated Sugar Company in Nampa where he worked for the next 41 years. Lloyd married Christine Durrant in 1992 and became stepdad to her two boys Johnathon and Michael. Together they had three more children Austin, Matthew and Lexee.
Lloyd’s family was always his first priority, and he worked hard to support and provide for them. He loved playing card and video games, watching movies, and anything else that involved being with his family. His other hobbies included collecting Matchbox Cars, target shooting, and camping, especially in Island Park.
He is survived by his wife Christine, children, Johnathon (BrendaRose) Durrant, Michael (Ashley) Collett, Austin (Caitlin) Bair, Matthew (Malissa) Bair, Lexee Bair and six grandchildren.
Lloyd was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Latter-day Saint Church on Linden St. Viewing will be one hour before the services at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Graveside services will be at the Richmond City Cemetery on September 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Richmond Utah.
