Leta Velois Perez

Leta VeLois Crisp/Perez was born on August 8, 1958 in Lebanon, Missouri the 5th child to Ernest Sylvester and Bertha Idona Crisp. They moved to Jerome, Idaho when Leta was 2 years old, and remained there until September 1961 when they moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they resided on Chicago Street where Leta grew up. She married at the young age of 18 to Dennis Eugene Healy and they had a son, Daniel Eugene. She had a second child, Sherman Anthony “Tony” Hatfield who was adopted after birth. Leta moved to Ely, Nevada where she met Gary Loose and married, they had a daughter, Geniece DeAnne.
Leta was a gypsy at heart and loved to travel, camp and do photography.
Leta leaves behind her three children, Daniel Healy, Geniece Boehnlein, and Tony Hatfield, two brothers, Sherman Crisp and Ray Crisp, two sisters, Brenda Salas and Kay Alves, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also a life-long friend, Inez Perez.
She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Crisp, mother Bertha Crisp, 2 brothers, Therman Crisp and Dean Crisp, a sister, Retta Green, and niece, Carla Young.
There will be a celebration of life in the coming year.
