He was instrumental in the renovation process of the old Carnegie Library into a Veteran's Hall, helping to make it the beautiful facility it is today. Lawrence was a diligent and hard worker, providing for his family as a truck driver for most of his life.
Lawrence is survived by three sons; Michael Kelly, Caldwell; Stephen Kelly, St. Cloud, Florida; Danny Kelly, Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Kelly; parents Nell Garner and Woodrow Kelly.
