Lawrence Darrell Freeman

Darrell Freeman, 84, of Caldwell, ID went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at home with his loving wife by his side. Darrell was born in Willow Springs, MO on November 7, 1933 to Harvey and Hazel Freeman and moved to Arena Valley as a small boy. Darrell worked in maintenance and as a welder at various companies, retiring from Hoff’s Lumber. Darrell married Leona Storms on September 15, 1951. Together, they had 8 children and made their home in Caldwell, ID. Darrell enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Darrell is survived by his wife of 66 years Leona Freeman, his sister Eunice Freeman and his children Debbie (Jim), Judy (Les), Richard (Susan), Sheryl (Mike), Donna, Danny, Terri, Sheila (Kevin), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, a son-in-law, a grandson, and a great-grandson. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. January 25, 2018 at Wilder Cemetery under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
