Lance Thomas Brock

January 5, 1969 ~ September 19, 2021 (age 52) 52 Years Old

Tribute

Our cherished husband and father Lance T. Brock (52) tragically left us Sunday, September 19, 2021, to be in the loving arms of Jesus. Lance was born on January 5, 1969, in Boise, Idaho, to Charles and Bonnie Brock. Lance grew up in Boise and attended Franklin Elementary, West Junior High, and Borah High School.
During his younger years he worked for M & W in Moab, Utah, Albertsons in Boise, and then started a lifelong career at Micron where he worked for 32 years. Micron took him many places, including Singapore, and Xi’an, China, but he always made the effort to be home when it mattered. Throughout his years at Micron, he made many lifelong friends who will forever be cherished. One of these friends, Bob Bozeman, introduced Lance to his future wife, Jennifer. They were married on August 31, 1991, and just recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. Lance and Jennifer had three children: Colby, Eli, and Hannah.
Lance was a master of many hobbies, fishing and golfing being two of his favorites. He enjoyed all sports, particularly baseball, softball, and football. His absolute favorites though were any activities that his children and friends were participating in and rarely missed them. He was so proud of his children’s accomplishments.
Lance dearly loved his family and his friends and took great pleasure in helping them and others. He led his family in his strong faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we take great comfort in knowing Lance is in heaven with Jesus and Eli.
Lance is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and children, Colby and Hannah, his mother-in-law, Barbara Hume, brothers and sisters David (Gloria) Brock, Davalee (Dirk) Leavitt, Becky (Rick) Ridenour, Katy (Rich) Brock, Jon (Joann) Brock, Mike (Linda) Brock, Gary Tuttle, Rick (Julie) Tuttle, Vicki (Jim) Hetle, brother-in-law Bruce (Ramona) Hume, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Godson, Colton. He was preceded in death by his son, Eli.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Trapp, Dr. Dittrich, Nurse Elaine, and all the medical staff at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lance Brock’s memory to Lower Boise Cemetery, P. O. Box 781, Parma, ID 83660.
As we are devastated by this loss, we would like our friends, family, and our Micron family, to know how much we appreciate your love, prayers, and support during this heartbreaking time.

The funeral service for Lance will take place at Deer Flat Church, 17703 Beet Rd., Caldwell on Tuesday, September 28th, at 11:00 am. It will be followed by a short graveside service at Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma.
