Keith Arnold Grondahl passed away peacefully at home on August 4th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Keith was born September 1, 1938 in Caldwell, Idaho. His parents were Halvard and Viola Grondahl. Keith married Marilyn Haynie on December 11, 1982. They were happily married for 39 years.
Keith served 3 years in the National Guard. From a young age he took an interest in motorcycles then became passionate about drag racing. Keith was one of the original founding members of Heap Herders Car Club. His pride and joy was his 1923 Ford T-Bucket “Lil Hoss”. “Lil Hoss” made National news in a featured article in Superstock and Drag Illustrated Magazine, Keith was very honored about the article. He started Grondahl Auto Body and was very proud of his work. He drove truck for many years and retired from Feller Trucking. He loved fishing, camping and was a huge fan of WWE Wrestling and Boise State Football.
Everyone that met and knew Keith thought very highly of him and called him a “good guy”. He had a great sense of humor which he kept to the end through his 2 ½ year battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his wife Marilyn. Step-daughters Denise (Mike), Shirley and Nephew, Scott (Wendy). Keith considered Denise, Shirley and Scott as his own children. His younger brother Halvard “Jack” (Lorie). Grandchildren: Jackson (Aubrey), Garrett (Abby), John (Erica), Andy (Jessica) and Amy. Great Grandchildren: Sierra, Valkerie, William, Jackson Jr., Ozzie, Emma and Giannis. He was preceded in death by his parents Halvard and Viola and twin brother Ken.
