Kathy Ruth Evans

Kathy Ruth Evans, 72 of Caldwell, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her youngest daughter, Autumn Jensen on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29th at Peaceful Valley Cemetery under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Kathy was born April 16, 1946 to Ralph and Ona (Porter) Kester at Wilder, Idaho. She married Forrest LeRoy Evans in 1961 and together they had 12 children. Kathy was a devoted lifetime member of the Followers of Christ Church. She was an amazing person with a heart of gold and a true blessing to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Evans, her parents, three sisters, four brothers, and 2 grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by all 12 of her children, Starla (Willy) Perrigo of Boise, Randy Evans of Nampa, Noreen Coryell of Sand Hallow, Gloria (Ed) Graham of Caldwell, Todd Evans of Caldwell, Travis Evans of Nampa, Kandi Barney of Vale, OR, Tyron Evans of Orofino, Roxi Williams of Caldwell, Natali Evans of Caldwell, Vanessa Dawley of Caldwell, and Autumn (George) Jensen of Hagerman; her sister, Clara Lacer; 2 brothers, Melvin Kester of Nampa and Larry Kester of Caldwell; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kathy will always be greatly loved and missed by all of her brethren, friends, and family.
