Karl Tsuyoshi Tanaka

     At 91 years of age, Karl T. Tanaka, baseball fan and family raconteur, passed away October 27, 2018 in Ontario after a brief stay with Hospice care. Not one to linger too long in one place, Karl no doubt wanted  to move quickly to the next chapter in his long life.   Now with the Lord and likely engaging in lively banter with his mother and father, Michiye and Ben Tanaka, sister Marian Nomaguchi and brother Gus Tanaka — all of whom have been waiting for Karl to join them at the pearly gates!
    A WWII US Army veteran and a world wide traveler for many years (Mexico Guatemala, Jamaica, Israel and the 4 corners of the US!),  Karl came back to his roots in Oregon after suffering a major stroke over 15 years ago.
    The community of Ontario has been warmly supportive to Karl during his time there;  his six surviving nieces and nephews give thanks to everyone for their kindness and hospitality.
    We love you Uncle Karl, and will miss your stories and crooked grin!   Rest In Peace.
