Judith Elaine Young

Judith E. Young, one of five children, was born November 19, 1945. At age 16, she moved to California where she met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, Tommy S. Young. There they raised two beautiful daughters before retiring to Idaho in 1989 where their family continued to grow.

Judy not only raised her two daughters, but played a huge role in raising her seven grandchildren. After raising babies for 54 years, it's safe to say she was a professional Nana.

Judy was a fighter, she not only fought and won the battle against breast cancer in her thirties, but she fought leukemia hard for three years before passing in her seventies.

The happiness of her family was always the most important thing in her life. She always put her loved ones needs before her own. Along with the love of her family and friends, Judy enjoyed fishing with her brother, Bennie.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tommy Young; two daughters, Julie Minnich and Anita Young; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Vanessa, Amber, Brooke, Holly and Lanae; and seven great-grandchildren.

Judy will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
