Jordon David Phelps

Jordon David Thomas Phelps, formerly known as Jordon David Thomas Skeem of Caldwell, Idaho passed away on May 21, 2023. Jordon has been fighting a long war with depression most of his life and won many battles; on Sunday he was too tired to continue the war. Jordon was born in Pocatello, Idaho on November 15, 1994 to Deborrah Marie Phelps and Zjon Allen Skeem. His light shines on through his wife, Lena; 3 kids, Aldrich, Jaddison and Brexleigh; mother Deborrah; father Zjon; siblings Justice, Jarrett, Lamika and Mason; grandmothers Sharon and Teresita; uncle’s Trelis, Tovan, and Kalan and several other uncles, aunts, and close friends. He is now joined with his Grandpas Don and Gary.

Jordon had many talents and worked several jobs throughout his college career. His favorites were working at Night Owl Janitorial and Game Stop. In Fall 2021 he graduated with a dual bachelors in Business Marketing and Administration. He moved to Caldwell, Idaho with his family for a job offer at Amazon in Spring 2022. He worked hard at everything he chose to do and made a positive impact on everyone around him. His coworkers could always count on him to be willing to help, go above and beyond, and serve as a shoulder to lean on or to make them laugh.

Jordon was able to travel a lot growing up which fostered his love for history. He loved seeing all the sites and learning about the places he went and aspired to go. Jordon will be remembered for his playful personality and his many bromances. His favorite thing to do included spending time with his family and friends, playing disc golf, hiking, spending time in the water and video games.

Jordon was an amazing father to his 3 children. They made him feel like a super hero that could do anything. His children would often light up when he entered the room and run to daddy or run from the daddy monster. Even when he was exhausted, he found the energy to always make them laugh and play with them.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5 pm-7 pm and services will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2 pm at Dakan Funeral Chapel located at 504 S. Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605. Services will be broadcast online for those unable to attend.
