Jolee Sharp

On Friday, March 10, 2023, our beloved wife and mother, Jolee Sharp passed from mortality at the age of 57. Born to Antonio and Beverly Meza, Jolee was raised in Camas, Washington and graduated from Camas High School. She was involved in Choir and drama in high school and loved performing. She met Richard in the fall of 1985 and they were married and sealed in the Seattle LDS Temple April 25, 1986.They lived in Vancouver, Washington where 7 children were born into their family. Jolee was a wonderful loving mother and loved doing creative things with her husband and children. Children’s school projects always changed into something spectacular as they slept at night. Beach trips and camping were always adventures and Jolee was always ready to go. After moving to Caldwell, Idaho she discovered fishing was another love. Bubba, the fish wasn’t safe thereafter.
Jolee always sought the individual on the side line or alone as she drew them into her sphere of love. She thrilled in watching her children grow and learn to love music as she did. She was fiercely protective of them in times of struggle, always cheering them on. Her grandchildren were her precious gems. Dressing up for playtime, holidays, movies or any other occasion was part of being with Grandma Sharp. Her vibrant smile and laughter lit up our lives.
Jolee was always active in church; teaching and leading with children and youth. She served numerous times with the young women and was always up for some fun. Her last calling in church was teaching the 4-5 year old children with her husband, Richard. She said her favorite calling was loving on the little ones. Jolee is survived by Richard, her children,Talia, Kylie, Kiri, Cody, Austin, Dustin, and Branson. Also surviving are her parents, 3 siblings,16 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Linden LDS building in Caldwell, Idaho. There will be a public viewing Friday, March 17 from 5-7:00 PM.
