Jean Gross

Jean E Gross, age 87, gracefully departed this world on November 10, 2023. She was born to Merle and Pearl Bloyd on December 12, 1936, and her journey was marked by a life rich in love, art, and service.
After graduating from Homedale High School, Jean embarked on a successful career in the insurance field. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Joe Love Gross, and together they shared a life enriched by Joe's Air Force career, exploring the world hand in hand.
Jean was not only a loving wife and devoted mother but also an accomplished artist. Her passion for tole painting was evident in the beauty she brought to life on canvas. Her creative spirit and talent touched the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of friends and family.
Jean is survived by her beloved son, Kelly, who resides in California. Their close bond and the love they shared will forever be a testament to the warmth and strength of family ties.
In honoring Jean's memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your local pet rescue. Jean had a deep affection for animals, and supporting their well-being would be a fitting tribute to her compassionate spirit.
Graveside services to celebrate Jean's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Parma Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and find solace in the company of each other during this time of remembrance.
