Jackie Eugene Cagle Jr

Jackie Eugene Cagle Jr., 46, of Wilder, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home of natural causes. A family viewing will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Fargo Cemetery, Wilder, with his second cousin, Bob Brixey of Boise officiating. Jackie was born in Caldwell, ID to Jack and Clarice Cagle on July 24, 1975. Jackie graduated from Wilder High School in 1993. He then attended Idaho State University (ISU) for one year living with his sister who was also attending ISU Pocatello. Later he worked several jobs in life including working with Uncle Eddie and Grandma Carrie on the family farm. He also fought forest fires for a couple years, worked construction in Boise, ID and welding jobs. His greatest adventure came when working in Alaska on commercial fishing ships for three years. The adventure for him was to see all the wildfires and eat fresh seafood every night on the ship. He always brought mom and dad a huge filet of Lingcod on the plane ride home. His last job was at Clayton Tree Farm in Wilder, ID. Learning all varieties of trees and how to care for them.
Jackie enjoyed tee ball as a young child and Tae Kwon Do for several years earning five belts, all except the black belt. He loved fishing with his family in their favorite place, Hells Canyon. He and his sister Carrie Ann, Loved deep sea fishing together and made several trips to Morro Bay and Bandon. He will be forever missed by his family. Till we meet again my son and brother.
Jackie is survived by his mother Clarice Cagle, sister Carrie Ann Roggentine (Richard) of Bakerfield, CA, Grandmother Ann Cagle of Wilder, Teresa Thompson (Kelly) of Orofino, aunt Tami Tibbit of Wilder, aunt and uncle Jerry Cagle (Kathy) of Anchorage, AK; aunt and uncle Bill Allen (Diane) of Caldwell, and several cousins.
