Isis Kay Braun

Isis Kay Braun (Mendenhall) was born January 23, 1945 in San Bernardino, CA to Edward Arlan Mendenhall and Isis Ilene Frost Mendenhall. Kay grew up in Caldwell, ID and married Donald Herbert Braun July 20, 1962. They have three daughters and have lived in their family home in Caldwell for over 50 years. Kay loved her extended stays at their cabin in McCall, ID. She enjoyed making jewelry, skiing, tennis, and playing pickleball. Kay and Don are members of Grace Lutheran Church. Kay passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022 after a three year battle with pulmonary fibrosis with Don by her side.

Kay is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Donald H. Braun, her three daughters; Angela Braun-Loerzel, Jennifer Braun-Blanco, Gabrielle Braun-Maude, their husbands; Pete Loerzel, Carlos Blanco Alday, Douglas Maude, three grandsons; Sage Loerzel, Seth Loerzel, Dylan Maude, her brother Richard Mendenhall and wife Patricia, her sister Connie Cook and husband Melvin, and the extended Braun Family whom she considered to be her own.

Kay Braun will be interred at the Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, ID. The Memorial Service will be Grave Side, at 3:00 pm, June 15th, 2022.
