Irene Wanda Lee Becherer

Wanda Lee Becherer, 90, Caldwell, died unexpectedly July 11, 2019, at a local care center. She was born April 01, 1929, in Pinckneyville, Illinois, the Daughter of Clarence R. and Hilda (Egbert) Schwebel.
Wanda graduated from High School in the state of Texas Class of 1947. Following graduation, Wanda went on to work for Pacific Bell Telephone Company. During this time she met George who at the time was serving in the Army. Wanda went on to marry George when he returned from the War and the two of them started a family in Porterville California. The two of them went on to celebrate 63 years of amazing memories and adventures together as one happy family until the death of George in January 2010. During that time they had two amazing children Edward L. Becherer and Terri L. Becherer.
Wanda enjoyed working with others and was often seen visiting the Porterville Gleaners or enjoying crafts, Camping with her family in the mountains of California or relaxing and spending time with George.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was pre deceased by Brothers, Roy and Jack.
Surviving Wanda is her son, Edward L. Becherer and Wife Sharon K. Becherer and her Daughter, Terri Becherer; Two grandchildren, Cory E. and Wife Jackie Becherer and Dustin Becherer; Three great grandchildren; Desiree Becherer, Danielle Becherer and Olivia Becherer
