Howard L Blevins

Howard Leo Blevins, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on April 12, 2021 at the age of 83.

Howard was born in Drumright, Oklahoma to Wade Henry and Aurelia Etta Blevins on December 7, 1937.

Howard was a Sgt. in the United States Army and a Korean War Veteran. He married the love of his life, Kathleen in 1984. He retired from General Telephone and Electronics (GTE) after twenty years of service.

Howard and Kathleen moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 2005 to be closer to their children. Howard loved spending time with his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Howard also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers and Boise State football teams. He was a master at restoring classic cars and brought several of them back to life to enjoy again. He was an artist who loved to draw, paint and created many works of art for his family. Howard was also a skilled home builder. He built and renovated many homes throughout his life. He was very generous with his talents and helped several others with home improvements. Family would describe Howard as a man of many talents, kind, adventurous, comical and someone who was always there to help friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children Dee Ann, Keith, Kirk, Rick and Amanda; grandchildren Wesley, Heather, Jessica, Nicole, Kritters, Sarah, Bella, Everett, Kaitlyn, Ezra and Nora; his great grand-children Sebastian, Jeremiah and Aden; his siblings Patty, Leroy and Orville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wade and Aurelia; his sisters Ramona, Dorothy and Marthetta and his brother Robert.
