Homero De Los Reyes Jr

Homero De Los Reyes Jr., 28 years old of Nampa, Idaho passed away July 8, 2019. He was born on November 1, 1990 in McAllen, Texas. His parents, Evangelina Davila and Homero De Los Reyes Sr. were blessed and enjoyed his birth and life for 28 years. During his school years, he played football and basketball and fondly remembered the debates in his government class. Homero was a loving, responsible, and dedicated father to his two daughters who he loved dearly. He was a loving and caring older brother. He was also a respectful and honorable son. Homero’s favorite past time was fishing and enjoying outings with family and friends. His favorite sport was football and he became a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a humble man that was willing to help others in need. Even at an early age he would protect others by standing up for those being bullied. He was a hard-working individual who strived to perform at above 100%. He was frequently admired by his co-workers for his punctuality. He was willing to accept challenges with a smile and willingness to learn. His co-workers playfully nicknamed him H2 during his 9-year career at Motive Power and left milestones at Camping World as an RV technician and at YMC Mechanical as a plumber and pipefitter. He earned the trust and love of many people due to his genuine personality, who thought of him as a great man that will be missed. Homero is survived by his two daughters Hazel A. De Los Reyes and Layla B. De Los Reyes, parents Evangelina and Homero De Los Reyes Sr. of Nampa, Idaho, sister Thalia and Chris Zook from Ashburn, Virginia, brother Alberto and Caleigh De Los Reyes of Nampa, Idaho, Nephew Santana James De Los Reyes, grandmother Antonia Ramirez from Pharr, Texas and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins in Idaho, Texas and Mexico. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019 and a Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on July 17, 2019 at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S. Kimball Ave., Caldwell, Idaho.
