Tribute

Harold Eugene Jordan, 15313 Sunnyslope Rd., Caldwell, Idaho, 83607, passed away of natural causes on Friday, November 16, 2018. After a rough few years, he left this world peacefully and at home with his loving family and faithful dog, Daisy, by him. Harold was 72 years old, or for those that knew him well “39 forever.”
Harold was born in LaGrande, Oregon, to George “Coy” Jordan and Thelma (Hart) Jordan. He grew up in Weiser and Nampa area and graduated high school in 1967. After high school, Harold entered the U.S.A.F. and did a tour in Vietnam, where he served as a transportation specialist. Upon his return from Vietnam, Harold joined the Carpenter’s Union in Boise and began work as a carpenter. In time, Harold became a project superintendent for Russell Corporation and Wensel Construction; in later years, he last worked at Petra Construction. Harold worked in commercial construction until forced to retire in 2007, after suffering a severe brain injury in a motor vehicle accident.
Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, family dinners and the occasional trip to Nevada.
Harold is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pam Jordan, of the home. They were married June 22, 1990. The family blended and raised six children. Harold is survived by his daughter, Michele (Micki) Plummer and her husband Darrel Plummer and his son, David Jordan and his wife Jana Jordan; his stepsons, Joey Burke, Kyle Heston and his wife Sasha, and Garrett Wood; his former spouse and mother of Michele and David, JoAnn (Reiter) Jordan of Spooner, WI; six grandchildren, Kirsten Jordan, Haylie Jo Henry and her husband Andrew, Jace Jordan, Joey Tate, Hunter Heston and Autumn Heston; two great grandsons, Aidan Saunders and Liam Jordan; three siblings, his older sister Margaret Munoz, younger sister Debi Casey and her husband Duane Casey, and younger brother Greg Jordan and his wife Becky Jordan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends – some dating back to his school days.
Many of Harold’s friends came over the course of his extensive work in construction. Most of Harold’s immediate family reside nearby; however, he has aunts, uncles, and cousins in Oklahoma and California.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, George “Coy” and Thelma Jordan, two older infant brothers, his stepson Clint Wood and infant granddaughter Kylee Heston.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the medical providers and staff at All Care Health Solutions / Hospice for the loving care and assistance over the last couple of weeks. We would like to give special thanks to Harold’s niece, Jennifer Evans and her husband Walt Evans, for always being there – even when we didn’t know we needed it. Thank you to his sister Debi Casey, for being a rock and being there in times of need. Thank you to Kyle and Sasha Heston for being such a steady source of help and support. Thank you to everyone who has visited, listened, prayed, stayed in touch and showered us with love, food and fellowship.
