Gregory P Gonzales

Gregory P. Gonzales, 75 resided in St. George, Utah. He passed away on September 3rd, 2022 in his home.
Greg was born on July 14th, 1947 to Ramon Gonzales and Eloisa Padilla in Sante Fe, New Mexico. He was one of nine children. Greg married Gloria Jean Bertram in Charleston, North Carolina on May 3rd, 1972. They had two sons, Phillip and Greg Jr.
Greg graduated in 1968 from Wilder High School in Idaho. He immediately joined the US Navy where he served as a medic and X-ray Technician. Greg was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1977. He later joined the US Air Force in 1983 where he served as a Civil Engineer. Greg retired from military services with honors in 1999.
Greg's hobbies included coin collecting, bowling, puzzles, hiking, carpentry, and poetry.
Greg is survived by sons Phillip Gonzales (spouse Martha), Greg Gonzales Jr. (spouse Trisha), Grandchildren; Alexis, Alyssa, Xander, Alex, Aaron, Taylor, and Christian. Great-grandchild Reegan. Siblings; John, Raymond, Jessie, Rosa, Francis, Lupe, and Toni.
Predeceased by; spouse Gloria Gonzales, grandchild Tyler Gonzales, niece Patty Bertram, and sister Angie.


A viewing will be held September 13, 2022 from 5-7pm at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at 1pm at Dakan Funeral Chapel.
